What Is Japanese Facial Massage?

Japanese Facial Massage encompasses the principles of Japanese acupressure, combining specific facial pressure points with massage techniques.

The increased blood and energy flow to the face creates a radiance and zest to the complexion. This rejuvenating facial reduces the appearance of lines with a noticable lift and tone to the facial muscles, giving a smoother, more youthful appearance.

This gentle facial massage induces a feeling of tranquility and calm, releasing tension in the face and body.

The Japanese understand the body to contain channels called meridians, through which energy (Ki ) flows.  Through these pathways, within the face, the flow of Ki throughout the body can be accessed, encouraging physical, psychological and spiritual harmony.
The six Yang meridians, with the addition of two vessels, begin or end in the face. The flow of Ki throughout the meridian system can be balanced with this treatment, thereby helping to maintain a healthy vibrancy throughout the body and face and supporting in the preventative care of health disturbances.
